Dear Beachwood Families,

Happy October! We are so grateful for our Beachwood families and truly honored to serve our military-connected children. Thank you for trusting us with your amazing Bobcats each day!

Please join us for Fall Open House on October 8 from 4:00–6:00 p.m. to visit your child’s learning space! Your child can proudly show you where and what they learn while teachers share routines, curriculum, and some of the exciting learning ahead. If you have individual questions about your child, teachers are always happy to schedule another time to talk with you personally.

Are you on ParentSquare? It’s our main school communication app and a great way to stay up to date with what’s happening at Beachwood, whether you’re nearby or supporting your Bobcat from far away.

Our October focus is Responsibility, and our 4th and 5th grade Student Managers are getting started! With rainy days ahead, please send a labeled jacket, sweatshirt, or hoodie. Our Bobcats enjoy outdoor recesses every day, rain or shine!

October is Impact Aid Survey Month. Please watch your email for the brief survey. Your participation is important in our military community and helps support all our students. Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete it!

We’re so thankful for our PTA and the wonderful support of our Beachwood community! Join us October 23, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. for the Boo Bash Bingo, our PTA’s main fall fundraiser. It’s a fun evening together while supporting our students and school. Everyone is welcome!

Thank you for being part of Beachwood. We’re here for you! If you have a question, need support, or just want to check in, please reach out to your child’s teacher or our school office.

With appreciation,
Barbie Gonzalez
